WHAT DOES THE WORK INVOLVE?

This is not telemarketing there is NO cold calling involved. You would handle INBOUND calls only that have been routed from the client's phone systems to your phone at your house. You will have the option to work in billing, sales or the tech department. You have the choice and pick the clients you would like to service. You will answer the call and service the customer while you are logged into the clients proprietary software on your computer. You will need a plain old telephone line (no voicemail or call waiting) and high-speed internet. You will work with the customer to resolve any concerns and provide them the information they need, then move on to the next call.

CAN I DO THIS FULL TIME?

The simple answer is, yes it can. You have the ability to earn anywhere from $9 an hour to $15 an hour depending on the client you choose to service. You will also be paid on performance and will receive incentives based on your performance. Once your background check is completed you will receive instructions on how to select a client, complete the voice assessment and the pre-assessment. Once you are qualified, you will enroll in their online training class.

WILL I BE YOUR EMPLOYEE?

Our team of virtual agents are independent contractors. Agents will receive 1099 for the prior year's compensation. Agents must pay all of there own taxes. There are quite a few tax perks for being an independent contractor. Check with your local tax advisor for more information regarding tax perks.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO START EARNING REVENUE?

You will need to complete the admissions process, which can take as little as one day or as long as a week depending on how quickly you move through the steps. Once you pick your client, all that is left is your training and then you are earning money. The length of the training course varies with each client, so you will be able to find one to suit your needs.

WILL I HAVE TO TAKE A BACKGROUND CHECK?

Both Arise and our clients have high standards. Client Support Professionals (CSPs) provide customer support services for each client and have access to confidential information; therefore a background check is required to ensure that each potential CSP’s identity is confirmed and free from criminal history. Felonies and misdemeanors that include fraud are not permitted.

HOW IS YOUR CALL CENTER DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS?

We have a unique call-center business model. All of our agents have the ability to select the client they want to provide services for and select their own schedule each week.

24/7 servicing of inbound calls for roadside assistance and other service requests from client’s customers and/or client account representatives.

Possible outbound calls in English or Spanish client, client’s customers and/or client account representatives for status and clarification purposes.
Transferring of inbound calls or outbound calls to other client-designated internal support departments or client account representatives.

Service Provider Calls:
Outbound coordination to client’s independent service providers (such as tow trucks).
Possible follow up calls to independent service providers for clarification and/or additional calls for secondary services.
• Possible translation calls from Spanish to English for secondary services

Having a flexible schedule means you can make time for your kids and family, or pursue other interests. If you want to homeschool while running your business, you can. However, achieving work/life balance does take some planning and time management. In some cases, you may still need to arrange for childcare.
